Shihan Vassie Naidoo the chief instructor and 7th degree black belt, is a member of the JKF GOJU KAI
Has more than 40 years of experience in the Art of Goju-Ryu where he began training in South Africa, Thailand, Hong Kong,Japan and settled in Santa Monica, California .He travels to Japan annually representing the United States. He creates and maintains the Art of Goju-Ryu Karate as a long term activity for any individual enabling the martial artist to achieve their potential and focus on their spirit as well as their body. In turn, giving them the chance to become an outstanding citizen in our society and a positive contributor in today's world. Shihan Vassie was recently inducted into the South African Karate Martial Arts" Hall of Fame."

The tournament was run well and a great big thankyou to all referees and parents that gave their time up to make this event successful

Although a small tournament by our standard we had 88 competitiors and most divisions full we had to break up the bag push to four divisions and I would like to thank Hugh Lynch-Gardner From Budo Ryu Kempo International and Daniel Spice from Hawkesbury Martial Arts for their students participation

To All Members,

Grading for all grades will be held in July 2008 students that are being tested, please fill out a grading form and give back to your instructor, last training night before grading. To be eligible for grading you must of been training for at least three months and be a financial member of the KAJ with all tuition fees up to date, also grading and attendance cards must be handed in on night of grading.
